You and Prescriptions

Prescriptions are good but not every prescription works solution for you. Great prescriptions work solutions and get you in the right position and situation you long for.

To find yourself in your desired position, you have to apply the prescription. It could be a piece of advice. It could be a recommendation. It could even be a medical prescription. Whichever it is, it has to be used or tried religiously before you can adjudge it right or wrong.

Now, you cannot use a prescription unless you believe in it. When it's given to you, something in you aligns with it and lets you know that it will work for you. That's faith, your supersense.

Every day we receive prescriptions from different channels in the space that we occupy till we are overloaded with same and we get overwhelmed. What do we do in such quagmire of situations?

Caution is called for. As I said earlier, you must connect with whatever anyone is bringing to the table before you. You probably want to see if they have used it before and what the results are. One great skill you need to apply also is to be an analytically-minded person.

You have to check up with the information that is being provided. This morning, a guy called me and introduced himself as Emmanuel Nwachukwu. I never heard that name.

It's often difficult for me to forget completely where I meet you. I probed for connections with past events and I knew where he was coming from.

After a few minutes of conversing and me listening to him presenting his pitch, I concluded that he was a fraudster.

The prescription he offered me: He says that he is a contractor with MTN and that there are contracts that are coming which he wants me to bid for. He was going to get back to me after talking with his boss. About an hour later, he beeped me. I had saved his name. He only beeped and he cut the line, expecting me to call him back. I didn't bother and he has not called back since. I know that prescription.

Another prescription is that you can get 100% ROI on investment within 24 hours by just putting your money somewhere. . Usually, I ask them where they invest such money that it would yield 100% returns on investment in 24 hours and they go cold. I know that prescription.

Sometimes, it's the guy who's selling meds on a bus, on street corners or at a bus stop. It's so cheap and within easy reach. People rush to buy it. However, more than 95%, if not all of them, cause more harm and damage than you can ever imagine. Those medicines cure every disease.

You will always find people offering you prescriptions that promise to solve all your problems in one clean sweep. Don't you ever wonder how possible that can be? This is a problem that you walked yourself into through disobedience, ignorance, mismanagement and more. The hard Truth is that you can walk yourself out of the same problem through intentional and deliberate process. If you seek, you will find.

Be wary of prescriptions. Be conditioned to all time value by having an acute sensory mechanism. This is the mindset that is used to value, decoding and deciphering of thoughts and information. Walking that path is uneasy but once you have started, the toughness of it teaches you beyond averages.

If it's so easy, you may be wary and cautious of it. And even if it seems difficult, it may only seem so because it has been carefully and thoughtfully crafted to be so. It only seems so; it's not so.

Don't ever be hasty. Take time with everything. Anxiety is an enemy as much as ease is. Delay decisions deliberately and during the interstices, your acute sensory mind that's exercised and trained for value and right-thinking through engaging with tough challenges will inform you by letting you see loopholes that the average mind may not easily see.

Whatever the problems you have, there are right solutions as well as wrong solutions. They both come as suggestions. Be as wise as the serpent, but harmless as the dove.

"Mr Joseph Ayeni's book is a well researched compendium that addresses several, but salient subjects that can significantly enhance human dignity, success and fulfilment."
