For anyone who can take a few minutes out of their very tight schedule to read something that connects to and with their essence each day, they should kickstart something that will get them to the point of thinking about thinking and the development of their mind.
How can we learn to think if we do not read? How can we learn to think if we do not study? How can we, if we read and not take notes and meditate? How can we evolve if we do not attempt implementation and execute what we encounter?
We must use reflection, use observation, pay attention to patterns, and indeed, separate ourselves from the throng to dive deep into our essence in conjunction with the content that we deliberately engage with.
Development of any competence and earning mastery comes at a huge cost. Masters fail many times in areas where others never even dare to venture. With the folding of the hands, we become rusty and never become.
Learning is not just about reading. Learning is the process where change happens. Change happens because there is a shift within which makes the prospective learner or change agent stir from redundancy, from being inert, from being static and it begins with embracing failure. We must embrace the thought that this process will come with mistakes, errors and fails that are only a process of taking us to the place that we envision.
Being oneself is being authentic. Being oneself is to take the time to discover oneself. Now, that is the journey to purpose. Purpose is not earned by folding of the hands and waiting. Purpose is found by doing what your hands find to do and then, by paying attention, you know where your interests lie.
This education is not delivered to us in the formal school system. It is either self-earned or earned through mentorship or private coaching education. But the desire is in you. You have to be ready to do against the norm to finding yourself.
