When you desire power, when you desire growth, when you thirst for accomplishments in life, when you express strong hunger and zest for something, you are activating the law and power of attraction. Oftentimes you do not know that you are activating those laws because you are truly oblivious of the creative powers in your essence.
Those powers are available to you as they are in you. You only have to call them up through your desires. You have to reach deep down within yourself and call them up. This is true education. Man does not know but man needs to know. In order for man to truly be, he or she has to know first and then apply.
A friend of mine questioned me on the thoughts I shared in the podcast, 'The Law of Attraction is Not Enough', and that there are things that show up in her life that she did not ask for and I asked her to be specific about those things that she refers. She said men run after her and I laughed as I let her know that she asked for them. She attracted them and she asked me how.
First, I said you do need a man in your life and that need opens a door. While you actually do need a specific kind of man with specific and sterling qualities many men try to come in because you have sent out the application for men. Every kind of man will apply whether they qualify or not. Thus, you opened the door to them.
They will seek to come in because you put out the invitation. She was quiet. Then she said she has to shut the door now and I said that may not be in her best interest since she truly needs a man. I said to her, 'What you really need to do is to regulate what comes in. You already have a premium degree of self-control so you have to stay on that guard.'
There is something that you are not cautious of. You are a woman. Old or young, fat or slim, medium or average, size 6, 8, 10, 12, 16 or 20, men will run after you. It is the law of opposites that the universe operates by. As long as you are in this space and you are a part of it, you will have those experiences. Opposites will not cease to attract.
What you need to have is the power to regulate. The power of self-regulation is a personal power that helps you to keep yourself in tune with propriety but it does not work effectively outside awareness. The awareness of yourself and your essence precedes regulation. It is impossible for you to regulate what you are ignorant of.
Until you truly understand the workings of your psyche and mental faculties, you cannot become intentional and deliberate. Only when these are in place will you ask for specifications. After you have gained proficiency in the art of seeking specifics, it then becomes a pattern and you can lock out every other thing. Again, you have to learn to wait.
Waiting comes with attraction. After you have asked deliberately because you have a definite chief aim and intentions, you have to wait for what you asked. During the period of waiting, you are not stuck in a rut. You are not indolent. You are not playing with and in the areas that are negative to the things you have asked. You do not toy with your emotions and you are careful of what you permit. You get educated about those things that are germane to your purpose. And the more you learn the more you increase your propensity to earn the exact things that you desired. You will then manifest what you have attracted because you have already set it in motion.
These are sources of personal power. The man or woman who lives intentionally lives deliberately with very clear motives and limited options. You do not eat every and any kind of food. You eat food based on how you are wired, and you eat as your appetite permits. You do not chase after many things because others are doing same. You do the things you do based on your intuitive prodding. An intentional being is an intuitive being who works based on the template within.
While this kind of lifestyle shores up your personal value, and scares the ordinary away, it will bring in the quality of your worth. You will get exactly rewarded with what you have sown. You do not have to be afraid that your time shall pass you by. You are actually living by faith and living based on your definite chief aim. And based on that your value is shored up. Though you are in the market, you are not available to every kind of buyer.
I can almost perceive your thoughts now. You will only go according to the way you think. If you think you will expire, you will, but if you think your desire will manifest, it will manifest. As you think, so are you. You can if you think you can and so you work and walk that way. You can't if you think you can't and you will not so walk. It is as you think you are.
Now, there is a caution here, too. It is not just about affirmations. It is about actions. You have to act your affirmations. As you affirm, you apply your affirmations and then you create your reality. Everything is possible to only those who believe. You cannot manifest what you do not believe in.
Believing is seeing it in your mind. Believing is looking at the unseen and against all odds, you are ready to invest everything into it in the faith that whatever you sow you shall reap. If you believe it, you think it, if you think it, you confess it, if you confess it, you act it. If you act it, it will yield to you. This is the true affirmation. It is a personal power that sees processes through from the scratch.
Without doubt, this path is not commonplace and it is not for the weak of heart. It is for those who are bold and courageous; those who dare. It is for those who are willing to explore their fears and follow their gifts to the darkest places where they lead and these dark places are the places from where value is developed through skilling, service and diligence with such a consistency that it becomes a winning culture that births proficiency where gains flow like from a fountain. It is dark because you are seeking to bring forth to the light, and to actualise.
This is not the path for the throng. It is a path walked by a few. Once you discover the path you should walk based on the gift in you, you are guided by a certain knowing that you may not know you know. Jesus told His disciples: Where I go you know, but they were so full of doubt that they did not know they knew. But, they actually knew because they were from the place Jesus spoke of.
The power of foreknowledge guides you to the place. Foreknowledge is the power of knowledge before and beyond knowledge. You are led there by the Higher Being whom you surrender and dedicate yourself to in a committed service. The Higher Being rewards you beyond carnal imagination.
According to Napoleon Hill, 'There is one quality which one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it.' Using money as example, Napoleon says: 'Every human being who reaches the age of understanding of the purpose of money wishes for it. Wishing will not bring riches. But desiring riches with a state of mind that becomes an obsession, then planning definite ways and means to acquire riches, and backing those plans with persistence which does not recognize failure will bring riches.' It may not be money in your case. It can indeed be any other thing.
Persistence is nothing but action. You can only persist by acting on your desire. This desire compels you to take action. Now, there is a difference between wish and desire on the one hand, and between want and need on the other hand. You can want many things but you do only need one or two things each time. Unless you narrow your needs to specifics and pursue their attainment with persistent action, you shall not earn them.
With desires we unknowingly activate things in ourselves. With burning desires we open doors to things to show up in us. The funny thing is that we do so ignorantly. This is the sad part of this ability. If we are conscious of this ability, then we can and indeed we will be intentional about it. We can say yes or no to anything and that would be it. We are that powerful.
Your words are that potent. It may take time. Everyone else may have sped past you but if you believe your desires and you keep them in focus as you go about manifesting them, you will bring them to fruition. You definitely will manifest your definite chief aim. This position is non-negotiable. Do not forget that you are not in competition because each of us carry different seeds. You have to keep reminding yourself of the seed you are bearing and the seed you have sown.
