Each time you deal, you have to understand that you are saving the story of your dealings in the memory of others. The question is: What do you want them to remember about you? What stories do you tell through your words and deeds?

That is what you must say and do exactly. Do not say or do anything otherwise than you want them to remember because long after you have transacted, the memory does not forget.

You must be that self-conscious always when you engage with others in your little seemingly unseen space. It is your seemingly unseen space because each time you deal you do not often think that you are in the open. Are there really secrets?

You must make it a personal obligation and service to yourself to use integrity and every form of propriety to write your own script. You are writing an indelible script every time.

Every time you deal, a part of you goes out to others. The people you deal with are left with a perception of you. What do they leave or go away with? You are not being asked to be anything other than yourself but you are being reminded that you have the pen to write in your own blank sheets what you want the pages and chapters to read like.

It is possible that you are misunderstood and so misjudged but again that is the beauty of life. You may only have time to be the catalyst of that because time works on all things indeed. Enjoy the perceptions but be true to yourself constantly. You have to.

You do have that power. When you were made, you were made human. As a human being, you are made a partaker with the divine and so you have embedded in you such divine qualities that can enable you to be what you choose to be upon discovering who you are.

Who are you? What have you found yourself to be? Who do you deliberately create each day? What do you envision of yourself? These questions are not regular even if you have heard them before.

You may never know their import or the magnitude of their weightiness until you actually begin to apply yourself to them. That is what it means to live an intentional and deliberate lifestyle.

This knowledge helps you to choose your friends and partners since you cannot choose family. But you can make friends and partners family if you cultivate the right values and constantly make a living culture of them through daily practice.

Values are the software that run your hardware. They are the principles that you run your life with. They are the codes you write. But people decode your codes, too. Your values are the currencies you exchange with others when you trade with them.

They unconsciously get you to attract the people that come into your life and they help you manage them. Without cognizance of them, your choices cannot be the right ones. You have to make your choices in alignment with your personal values.

It is true that birds of a feather flock together. You cannot afford to deal less having been exposed to this reality. It is light. If you reject it, you choose darkness. You undo yourself.

There is always a price to pay. The price of peace is to engage in a personal battle with yourself. When you have won the battle against yourself, you can win the battle against others. Winning self-battle comes with being aware of what is your weakness as well as the strength to fight your lows. Knowing your weakness is strength in itself.

If you have done this work, you have chosen to walk the path of personal mastery, the same path that men who chose to be the masters of their fate walked. They separated and consecrated themselves by sealing themselves away to the timeless principles of the divine nature.

They lived on earth as it is in heaven. This is the vision that men have of them. How they lived is the vision that men with whom they dealt have of them. This is the script that they write. This is the song they sing and the dance they dance. Being the song they sing, it is what others dance to.

Therefore you have to sing a melodious song but do remember that not everyone will like your genre of music and that is why everyone cannot be for you. You cannot play to the gallery and try to be what you are not because of the craving of acceptance. That is the miserable life of being inauthentic. You cannot afford that.

As you deal, do due diligence not to allow the negativities of present emotions override your reasoning. You must pay attention to the vibes that you emit prior, during and after engagement and be loyal to yourself to disengage when you know that you are not in synchrony because every step you take is being recorded both by you and others.

Pay attention to the six mental faculties of perception, reasoning, intuition, imagination, memory and will. When you feed these faculties, you feed either the black or white wolf. Is the black getting bigger than the white or is it otherwise?

What you ingest is what you will egest. That is the vibration that you emit and that is what people take into their memory when you deal and engage.

"Mr Joseph Ayeni's book is a well researched compendium that addresses several, but salient subjects that can significantly enhance human dignity, success and fulfilment."
