It is quite a curious thought when we say that the solutions to problems are actually found in the problem. Does anyone feel differently? It does seem quite contrarian to think that way. Perhaps we can explore this position more.
Solution is in the problem. You just have not thought about it productively. You are too consumed with the problem and so confused about it that it numbs your sensibilities. That, exactly, is the nature of problems. But do you realize the nature of who you are? Can you pause again to imagine the nature of man, the problem creator?
If you learn to listen to yourself and walk your way back, then you should be able to connect the dots or if you are fortunate to meet a great listener, he or she should be able to help you connect the dots.
A great listener is not a good listener. A great listener is a master active listener who is able to hear what you are not saying. That kind of genius listener is able to remove the mask from what you are shielding.
He or she silently listens like God does and thus connects with your essence and reins. That is a possibility, for all things are ultimately possible to those who believe and can therefore make themselves a sacrifice for what they believe in. It is the nature of sacrificial entities.
We act our way into problems whether we know it or not. When we find ourselves in such a situation are we able to pause and take stock of how we got there? That is what it means to retrace our footsteps.
How many of us are that responsible? Read again: Taking stock means the willingness to retrace steps.
Can the actions be undone? Many times we are not able to swallow our pride. We are not able to apologize. We are not able to cut out excess flesh or eat humble pie. We find it difficult to kick a habit.
It seems impossible for us to quit doing what we are used to doing over a period of time but when we think about the outcomes we are getting, what it is costing us, and what it is taking from us, should we not get courageous and right a wrong however long a personal culture it has been?
I like the way Albert Einstein put it: We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. It does mean that if we work our minds diligently with a reprogrammed intention we can come up with a solution. We can fix a problem we created right from within us. When we think that everything begins with a thought, this should make a lot of sense.
If you are able to sit your butt down and reflect productively. To reflect productively is to think productively. Productive thinking is not the same as worrying. Productive thinking is a designed process using specific tools and techniques and there is a specific end in mind.
If you are able to discipline yourself and walk this path you will discover that you will gain access to unlock doors of uncommon solutions because they are actually locked in together. Problems and solutions coexist.
But it is true that some seeds we sowed have become trees and unless we cut them down, we will continually reap the fruits, yet can we possibly cut down the trees? Sometimes the fruit is a child we begat. And that fruit seems a bit of a problem for us. We do get so entangled that only time can extricate us.
Truth is that that problem was created by you and the solution is for you to live with the pain. The solution is for you to live with the pain. That becomes your gain.
You can earn strength from it by owning the problem but leaving it where it belongs--in the mistake of the past.
We may pretend it is not there, but it is. Now, is that not what humanity is about? Everyone who has created something has created something either good or bad and that is what it is. This realization is a tough one and it is what it is and must be accepted. This is the place of quaint strength.
What have you done that you can undo? Can you be about it now? What have you done that needs improvement? Can you be about it, now, too?
It is in a decision and actions. One good advice is for you not to try to do too many things. Do take your time and do specific things. And ensure you weigh the impact on others as you ponder and endeavour to create it. Everything we do has ripple effects.
You act yourself into a condition that has now become a problem for you. You have to act yourself out of the condition equally, not just think or worry yourself out. You have to act your way out. The problems you created are with you, but you can uncreate them the same way you created them. It is a process of acceptance and being intentionally deliberate.
Always remember during the process of creation that there can be the possibility of correction and improvement. Auto-correct is in nature. It is always in the details. Although it may take time, whatever can be done may be undone or fixed in some way.
