When we go seeking daily bread, what is the uppermost thought in our minds? We often make money or at least find a way to put food on the table because it is a promise based on the Maker's law that if we sow, we will reap, if we seek, we will find, if we ask, we will receive, and if we knock, the door shall be opened to us.
This is the principle upon which every increase is based. It is a common energy that many partake of but do not really apply themselves to from the place of understanding of specific laws guiding it.
Man is a co-creator with the Creator. When the Creator was creating the world and making such pronouncements as, "Let there be light," and the rest of it, man was in Him yet. We, man, were the last thing that God brought out from His essence. And it happens that we are mini-Him.
That makes us, man, the most advanced technology of God, the Creator. Every technology today is thus the creation of man, the most advanced technology of God. I do need you to ponder on this a bit more and see where it leads you.
However, it is pertinent to add that man, since creation, has evolved through the ages, and gone through sundry recreating processes through perversions that have distanced and separated him from the original thing.
It is the reason that his thinking is warped and selfish so much so that greed has taken the place of kindness and he has become more misanthrope than philanthrope. This is a misadventure earned from the perversion that man has become till he forgets that he belongs in an ecosystem.
Today, as in the past, through man's deeds, he destroys the very ecosystem he was created to dress, nurture, nourish and protect. Every negative thing that has happened to the ecosystem is his handiwork and there is no stopping of this till He stops it Himself.
Man has the key with him but the door he opens with it, and his motive for doing so is worth a consideration. What is the why behind your daily activities? Beyond making money, are you driven by the idea of service and value?
For example, when you leave home each day to get work done, what is your thought process: to solve a problem, to prevent a problem, make life better for others and in the process, make money, or just to make money, regardless? There is a difference between both positions.
With the latter, you may not think propriety, goodness, kindness, selflessness, and the need for faithfulness. It is needful to bear in mind that what goes around will definitely come around. What you give out is what is going to return to you, and often so in multiples.
What does work mean for you? Is work tied to purpose? Does it mean definite chief aim? Does work mean creation and sustenance of value? Does work mean service? The first thing to address the mind and intention towards is service. That is purpose.
What are the ripple effects of the work you do? After it has gone from you and it has given you pecuniary gains, does it equate the positive to others and the ecosystem? What is the impact of your activities on the ecosystem? Do realize that everything is connected to every other thing.
The thought that everything is connected to everything is a huge one. How many of us operate that way? A number of years back, I guess over two decades if not three, I think I was in college then, some Italians colluding with some Nigerians, dumped toxic wastes at the Koko Port in present day Delta State.
That was work, yes, but was it propriety? What could be the ripple effects of that on plant life, on marine life, on humans in the environment, and the entire ecosystem? Did the men in charge at the port think of their actions in that light?
When you are in your corner, do you realize that you are not working for yourself? Do you realize that you are placed there to fulfill a higher purpose, and not your own selfish purpose? Without this thinking, there is no true life. What you have is death. You actually represent inimical value to the society that you were created to protect.
Recently, I read about the activities of different FIFA representatives pre-Qatar world cup, just concluded: How other continents and nations used the opportunity to benefit their people, but African representatives used same for personal gains like express credit to their personal accounts.
What would you do if it were you? What would I do? Would I, or would you, at that moment of decision, remember the ripple effects of your decision and then decide for the benefit of the people you represent or for personal benefit? This is a hard place to be in, but it addresses the question of value system.
What program runs in your subconscious mind? That is exactly what you will manifest. The programs are embedded in your memory, and they express themselves in your perception, in your imagination, in your reasoning, in your intuition, and that is what your will activates or executes.
I am not critical of others. I am an advocate of looking inwards and the whole idea behind this writing is to get us to look within us and decide if there needs to be a shift because it is always an inside job, and that is true education.
What is the impact of your daily actions? Do you consider? You had better start to consider because there may be a need for a shift. You may need to reprogram your mind.
