Let the adults be adults indeed. Let them act worthy of examples and be models of higher quality living in the space they occupy; knowing full well that they are infusing and making indelible marks in the mental faculties of the young ones they play before.

We are all players before other persons where we are. As players we dance and sing. Our song is the life in us. This is the dance that others see. We manifest the songs in us through the dance we dance.

The young ones copy the old exactly. The old are models and examples to the young. With our songs and dances, their paradigms are formed. We write programs which they will carry in them and exhibit throughout their life.

Only way out is if they shift. This is usually a difficult choice to make. Imagine wanting to shift from a wife battering, abusive, uncontrollably angry and other untoward experiences ingrained in you. You do know the emotional and otherwise currencies you need to bargain with? Think about it.

The young ones in our space are our responsibilities to build for tomorrow today. Just our words won’t do; our actions do more because children don’t do what we say do or not do; they do what they see us do.

Question is: are you a positive model or negative model or example? The answer is the alignment of your words and actions, influenced by your thoughts. It’s your integrity. Eyes are watching you.

"Mr Joseph Ayeni's book is a well researched compendium that addresses several, but salient subjects that can significantly enhance human dignity, success and fulfilment."
